Obama and Blacks

The president is reportedly angry that African-American leaders aren’t crediting him for his hard-bought achievements that will especially help communities of color, including health care reform, aid to cities, student aid and protecting Medicaid. The leaders are tired of Obama's support for a broad black agenda rather than embracing the kind of war on racism, poverty and economic segregation embodied by King. Their concept cannot be achieved by this President, because it would place him further behind the eight ball, with White Americans claiming some sort of favoritism. The achievements of the President help all Americans who are similarly situated as the many African Americans. These African American leaders are piling on, it is obvious that this President has received the strongest opposition in history, and would never be able to get anything passed that would benefit African Americans exclusively. This is exactly why African Americans must duplicate the turn out in 2008, and not be upset and stay home. We now know that government as a whole must be one party in order to get anything done. So, as in 2008 African Americans must vote out all GOP candidates. Give Obama the opportunity to be the greatest President ever.
